So - I had a thing come up this last week (texting teenage girl in her mother's Infinity put me DOWN on my motorcycle. I dropped the C bomb on her before EMS hauled me off) and I didn't get time to do the comparison done - when I can walk without and lift my right arm above the shoulder, I will gat back in the shop and get this done!

Wow...not exactly paying the difference, with that "exchange rate." So we pay an extra $100 (over the difference in price of the regular IIDTool v BT), but I guess it's still better than buying a new one outright and scrapping the old.

Oh man! So sorry to hear. I rode for about 15 years before finally giving it up after I had my girls. It just wasn't worth the risk to me living around the D.C. area where EVERYBODY is on their phone while driving.

My bike still sits there in the garage, covered in dust, but looking pretty and occasionally whispering my name when I pass through.

Hope you get better soon!

My LR3 pan swap took 5.25-5.5 of ZF also.
I used a temp gun @52C. Truck level 4 ramps.

I should probably check it again just to be sure.
Would a dash warning light alert to low trans oil?

I second the warning not open the fill plug unless the truck is running at temp!

There is no low transmission oil warning. I'd like to slap the engineer who thought this whole rigmarole was better than a simple dipstick.

If I remember correctly, mine took about 5.5 liters as well, but there was a lot of estimating due to spillage.
