Hey everyone maybe someone can help me out here with my 05 LR3.
I've had it for two years and done about 20,000KM in it. for the past few months I've been having some big issues, like a DSC light, ABS light, HDC system fault message, engine system fault message, transmission system fault message, air suspension light, BRAKES light, PARK BREAK light and Special features not available message.
For the longest time they would just be on for a short drive and then next time I start it up there gone, it started out as the park break light amber and red randomly flashing whilst driving. Just recently all the lights came one, and just stayed on ever since, EXCEPT the one day I brought it to the dealer, when only the LCD messages and PARK BREAK light remained lit. Just the other day the check engine light came on(one of the few messages/errors my OBDII reader could scan) and it came up as "Oxygen too rich" in "bank 1" and "bank 2" after clearing the message it has not come back since,
However with the winter coming, I fear its not safe to drive without ABS, DSC or any terrain settings, last year the SNOW setting helped me insanely! I had a regular mechanic take a wild guess that its my wiring harness and Land Rover technicians at two different dealers wanted me to pay shop labor for 4 hours for them to "find out what the problem is" and his "best guess" was park brake control module, which if you ask me wouldn't have anything to do with any other lights or messages.
It's got about 110,000 miles on it. It's the V8SE version with every option but DVD/navigation. if any of that makes a difference.
Any ideas, anyone!? I've got about $900 stored up that I can spend on having it repaired, but I want other peoples opinions before I go and HOPE thats enough money to get it fixed at LR.

They want 4 hours diagnotic charge for at least 4 seperate electrical complaints.
Thats just how it works. The technician doesn't get near $125.00hr.
I'd keep saving.. $900.00 "probably wont help much" thats my "best guess"

The lean codes are the fouled injectors or a air leak. you can find out by taking an oil filter and stick it in the air intake hose with some tape on it to fit the size of the hole and start it up, if there is an air leak you will hear a whistle. if no whistle no air leak and its the injectors.
The battery could be bad but at the same time to the parking brake module doesn't go bad but the power to the module goes bad, you have to run new wires off the connector to a different location. there is a bulletin for the instructions, you don't need the connector they supply just the right size wires and long length to run it. Those modules are frequently misdiagnosed cause the guys don't read their bulletins.
But at the same time, ask the techs for an entire lists of the codes.

Thanks for the response! I did not here any whistle, and since the engine light ha not come up since for the time being I have decided not to bother with it. The LR dealer told me it was coming up something about not being able to contact the Park brake module and what they guessed was a transmission switch of some sort, because of the message that came up. However at the one day I took it to my dealer nearly 3 hours away most of the errors were not showing up on the dash or info center.
Here is a video I made showing what is specifically lit and whats happening.
I'm a pretty hands on kind of guy and have good relationships with local mechanics(none land rover/jaguar certified however) so if it's something easier or more simple to do I'd rather do it on my own than pay land rover $400 just to tell me whats wrong with it, and then probably give me some outlandishly enormous repair bill.
I appreciate you're help quite a bit!

Battery issues sometimes cause the issue but with the lights staying on along with the transmission and the engine fault its possible the can lines or transmission control is messing up. The park brake can have issues with the can high and low but that would make it not start. The fault with all the stuff is indicative of something slightly fouled. Look at these places to start, behind the battery is the ecu and the transfer case module. Look at the connections. you have to pull the battery. if they are covered in corrosion then clean them out with a pick and clean good to keep them from acting up. if they are ok then pull the four screws in the floor console and pull the entire section up that includes the cupholders and the switchpack. just make sure to push the overdrive button and pull up on the shifter. disconnect the connections and look for corrosion. If they are clean look at the shifter assembly on the floor, disconnect that and clean the corrosion. if that is clean make sure the shifter shifts smoothly, if not then lube up the shifter on the transmission bracket to make sure it moves.

I just encountered the same problem today while driving on the freeway. All the transmission and HDC fault messages and suspension lowered the car slowly. I had to exit the fwy and restart the car. Then it goes away. But it is happening now with more frequency. My mechanic says its the ABS module fault and needs to replace it. $1700. ouch.

Did you sort out your case? What was the problem?
Thanks.
I didn't get mine fixed because I didn't have the cash at the time, but I have an appointment next week to get it fixed so we'll see how it goes! Some lights went away on their own, I now have transmission system fault, engine system fault, suspension fault normal height only and an amber ABS light. suspension raises to normal height. other lights just weren't there after parking it for a week and starting it up when I got back from a business trip.
Will keep you updated what the dealer does and price!

That is not a LR mechanic but someone that knows squat about them. Spend the money on real diagnosis from a dealer.
