That X5 reminds me why I'm not fond of the Range Rover line... outward visability sucks.

What outward visibility issues do you have with the RR?

Try the expeditionportal forums

The LR section has many LR3/D3 threads with good photos.

The narrowness of the windows, especially the rear. Maybe not all models but the newer ones for sure. The Evoque looks like it was channelled and chopped...lol

What I did to my LR3 today...
2 new front axles, 2 new hubs, 1 right side tie rod end and a garage floor alignment.
Oh - and I replaced the gear selector lever I broke with one I bought from Abran.

I was a busy day! But, no more grinding noised from the front end and I know the work was done to at least my standard. Admittedly though, my standards have been known to slip a bit from time to time. It's almost always the fault of Oban the Overhanger.

What did you do with that gear shift lever? ....specifically, do you want to part with the old handle?

New tires! Wild Country XTX Sport in 265/70R18 All Terrain. I love them. I went from a Toyo Open Country HT 255/60R18 I'd say it added about a 1.5 inches in height. Slight scrubbing at full lock and in access mode if you hit a medium bump. And an amazing price to boot!

Normal height.

Off Road mode.

Frumpy A pillar fabric!

Preparing to reglue.

Somewhat less frumpy A pillar fabric!

In case you're curious what the A pillar airbags look like.
