Default What is this hollow tube? (Image Attached) - RESOLVED

I was checking out my battery area in LR3 2005 looking for Transmission ECU but discovered a detached hollow tube running from around the fusebox not connected to anything . Do you know what that is? Look at the attached pics. Is this how it's supposed to be or is it missing some connection somewhere?

Thanks for your help in advance.

Looks like a battery overflow drain - should be a hole on the side of the top cover of the battery. Common in a number of import vehicles.

Yep Savannah, you were right. Already attached it to the battery for whatever it's worth.

Now the original issue, where is the Transmission ECU box? Someone mentioned behind the battery. Couldn't find it. Want to look for corrosion etc. Thanks again.

its the two boxes behind the battery, you have to pull it to look for the corrosion.

Gotcha socalrovershop ! So socalrovershop and Rovin4life, what causes the failure of Terrain Response system for not to work/engage? I dropped the car off at the Land Rover Indy shop today. Just want to make sure they are honest and do the right repairs. They do have a good reputation, plus I like to "know" my car too as I love it and would want to self-diagnose. For hobby and interest reasons.
