1995 W/hard steering??4 days to buy!!!

I was the high bidder on a research 95 beluga black LR Dis!!!!!! It is so nice and adorable!! I want it so bad but i am a single mom with NO SKILLS UNDER THE HOOD!!! I would love to buy it and learn about working on it! I have 4 more days to pick it up and purchase it. Will anyone advise me about its issues. The dealer said the steering is hard. The ABS light stays on. Someone tell me to buy it and come to New Mexico and help me work on it!!!!
