hi there, new to us 2012 HSE Lux with RSE.

I'm loving the car (my other Rover is a 2004 Disco 2) , but fighting with the RSE trying to get it to recognise a USB connected Hard Drive. The manual is really vague on the subject. Right now the HD is formatted as FAT32 and the car tells me that there's no device connected.

I'm going to run out a little later on today to pick up a memory stick in case there's an upper volume size limit on the system that prevents my HD getting recognised (Seagate 500GB HD)

Anyone else had this issue?

quick update on this. So far my external hard drive doesn't work, however a USB 2 stick does as long as the video is encoded as a divx using the "home theater" profile.

now all i have to do is to figure out why my main display doesn't show the "rear media" option in the home menu. puzzling, maybe its in "limo" mode?
