1.) What is BlockBuy?
BlockBuy is a social group buying program by Atlantic British. Through BlockBuy, customers get exclusive savings on some of our most popular parts and accessories for Land Rovers. BlockBuy provides customers the opportunity to get a special discount on a particular product by opting-in for the deal on our company Facebook page. The discount is offered only when a predetermined number of customers (or block) have signed up to purchase that item at the discounted price. The more that sign-up, the better the deal!
example:
10% Off ARB Bumper with 10 or more buyers*
The 10% discount is applied only if 10 buyers sign up to purchase the ARB Bumper
At 15 buyers, the discount goes up to 15%, etc.

2.) Why? - The Decision to Create BlockBuy
Customers told us they wanted BlockBuy, that's why! Group buy promotions have seen success in automotive enthusiast forums for years, rewarding special interest customers with exclusive, discounted pricing. Requests for Atlantic British to offer our own group buy program did not fall on deaf ears. We created BlockBuy to offer a fun, interactive way for customers to receive special discounts on their favorite parts and coordinate with their friends to get even deeper discounts.
3.) How do I participate?
All BlockBuy promotions will take place on our BlockBuy Facebook tab. Anyone interested in participating in Atlantic British BlockBuy Promotions must have an active Facebook account. If you do not currently have a Facebook account we encourage you to create one quickly and easily at Welcome to Facebook - Log In, Sign Up or Learn More.
Customers with an existing Facebook account can see the latest BlockBuy offerings from our Facebook page via the BlockBuy Application tab (look for the BlockBuy symbol below our profile picture).
Clicking on the BlockBuy tab will bring you to the latest Atlantic British BlockBuy product promotion - including what discounts are available and what timeframe is required to sign up. If you are interested in the featured product, fill out the brief sign-up form and encourage your Rover-owning friends to do the same!

After filling out your contact information on the BlockBuy sign-up form, you will receive an email confirming your participation in the current BlockBuy Offer. When the promotion has expired, you will receive another email notifying you of the final discount level. If enough people have participated in the BlockBuy to earn a discount, you will also be provided an individualized discount code for use at checkout to get the discount.
4.) Why Facebook?
Group buying is a social experience. Vehicle enthusiasts often share the same cars, like the same products, etc. Offering discounts to Rover enthusiasts in groups is a win for customers and a win for our company. As the leading hub for social activity, Facebook is a perfect platform for us to offer a program like BlockBuy - offering customers a value-added program in a setting they can share with like-minded friends and enthusiasts.
