Default Warning "Engine and Transmission World" Crooks Beware.

Don't make the terrible mistake I made. Stay clear of these people; dishonesty and fraud is their way of doing business. If you deal with them you will be ripped off. They sell junk advertised as clean low mile engines and transmissions. Beware don't take a chance with these crooks; they will rip you off. When their reputation catches up with them they just change their name and continue conning people out of their hard earn cash. When they do I will keep this thread updated. Help spread the word; tell everyone you know "Engine and Transmission World" are crooks, BEWARE !!! Thank you.

Researching Toddco 5.0 HO: hoping they can accept my block as a core since they use bigger sleeves/pistons.
Miss it big time. Has been down a 14 months. (long sad story) keeps getting sadder. May give up on it soon if luck doesn't change.

Thanks for the info, I was considering buying an engine for my 2000 Land Rover Discovery II from them. I will cross them off my list. Do you know of any reputable places to purchase an engine for my land rover?

Yes; most mechanic shop owners understand that by you looking for thier help; identifies you as a dollar sign. Bottom line; everything built by man can be fixxed or re-built by man. If you own a Land Rover you should really invest in learning mechanical corrective and preventative maintenance skills.
