I've seen it on another forum but I would be interested to know how much work moding is required.

I assume your talking about the hid projector type, thats what I am interested in doing to mine.

Be more specific, are you wanting brighter lights or 03/04 head lights?

There was a DI in a magazine with 03-04 headlights. I changed my 2000 DII to 03-04 lights.

I think it was streetwolf that did the conversion on here, but I think it was on a D2. It would be tough on a D1 in my opinion since the moderness of it would be out of place.

I wont work on a DI without serious mods.
A DII is wider than a DI, so you would have to cut the grill down to make room for the lights.

Saw a D1 with 03/04 headlights at a gas station yesterday but he took off before I could ask him about it.

So, it is possible...
