Default Devon 4x4 rear bumper

Has anyone seen or know anyone that has a Devon 4x4 rear bumper for a D2? thinking about picking one up as my stock rear bumper can't take another hit or it will just fall off. Also wondering about picking up the lights to fit, wonder if i can find some aftermarket round LED's to fit because the kit is over $100.

yeah that is the kit im looking at. i guess $90 is better than $110. I need to get the rear bumper sorted it's a mess. sad you don't see as many used rear bumpers for sale as you do fronts. proves my theory that most people get off-road gear for show and no go.

try harbor freight last time I was in the store they had round led retofit lights(cheap),
Also check 18 wheeler supply houses on the web, the big thing on 18 wheelers these days is to convert to leds. You would be surpried how cheap some of the stuff for 18 wheeler are compaired to an assessory shop.

that is exactly what i was thinking. i see a lot of trucks on the road with round LED's in their bumpers, figured i'd post here and see if anyone else did the leg work already.

Keep in mind that if you use LED lights your blinkers will blink fast just like when a bulb is burnt out because the LEDs have to low of a resistance and the system thinks a bulb is burnt out.
Your turn signals flash at the correct rate based on electrical resistance.

Dont use LEDs.
Or live with it, but then you will never know if you actually have a burnt out bulb.

You can friend him on FaceBook.
He is one of mine.

yeah im friends on facebook with him as well. i don't mind if it blinks fast honestly. as long as it works and doesnt cause further problems. guess i have to get the bumper first. actually first i need to dig the sand out that is stuck into the stock bumper right now.

Instead of buying the whole kit, as you don't need all those lights, you can just buy them individually. Just make sure whatever lights you buy, are the NAS style lights, as the euro tail lights wont fit the bumper. I'm waiting to hear back from my ins. company about it. When I went to the body shop, he told me I had to buy the bumper, and when i got it, he would reimburse me. Obviously, after the whole year long Bottorf debacle, Lauren isn't a fan me spending money on the truck.
