Cool beans. Some one posted about syn winch line freezing to spool when wet in severe weather, Of course, with a Disco, you've always got hot water under the hood....

You will like that winch. I have the Warn 9500HSI for 9 years, with synthetic 3/8th" rope and love it.
By the way, you should never use that fairlead for rope, it will cut up the rope, have to use an aluminum billet instead.

I know. Getting a hawse is priority número UNO but I'm going to rausch next weekend so the roller will debut for a week or two. Honda; I'm mounting it to the terra firma bumper. If youve not seen it I'll post it in a second. Savannah. That was my boy Ed (hill topper). I was with him on that trip but not when it happened. Apparently the fix is to pee on it. Haha. Rob; I know right?!?!? Never wanted to get stuck do bad in my life. I think I'll go Snorkel and sliders and then chill out with the spending for a while.

yeah that was my synth line that froze. with 100 ft of synth line and 10 degree weather i was not willing to take my private bits out and wee for that long... i would have had bigger problems at that point. i just threw a strap to a buddy and got yanked out.
