I have searched all of this forum for ideas on where to mount a high lift jack to my D2! I was hoping there was some type of gutter mount that would hold a high lift, but the only rain gutter mounts I have found online are for roof racks! =( I would love a basket up top, but with my 3" lift and 285/75's theres only 1" of clearance entering my garage! Anyone else mount a high lift on there vehicle that wasnt on a roof rack???
Thanks!!! =)

if you only have 1" of clearance up top i doubt you will find a place to mount it. unless you have a 48" and mount it on the spare tire even then it might be over the roof an inch not sure

I mounted mine on the spare for year, someone stole it. Now I also keep it on the floor behind the front seats and the thing works whenever I need it cause it is not rusted up be being exposed to the snow and rain year round.

mine is mounted to my roof rack, obvs mounting to a roof rack or brush bar is not an option for you nor is to the plastic rear bumper.. so your only bet would be the spare. back to my orig point if you have the 48" it might fit in your garage.

I wouldn't mount a hi lift hanging off the back of my bumper, tf front bumpers dont have brush guards so it would sit in front of the lights and radiator
Or, just put it on the spare when you go to wheel and take it off when you're done. We're only talking two nuts people.
Putting it on the lower part of the front or rear bumpers is just asking have it torn off.
