Possible Mod: 99-02 Headlights on Disco 1?

Hey all, so I've been curious of this lately. You know the black-outlined headlights on the 99-02 Discovery 2s? I've been looking online and the headlights look to actually have the same dimensions as Discovery 1 headlights. It seems LR just "blacked out" the outline. Can someone give me some dimensions of their 99-02 headlights and perhaps a picture of the connector? If it is easy enough, I am interested in doing an easy conversion.
