Default Roof Rack Fitment Question

I have a local source for a full roof rack at a decent price. It is coming off a 2004 and I want to put it on my 1996. Will there be any fitment issues? As far as I can tell, it will be an easy swap.

if it is an SD rack it will be 6" too long but NO actual fitment issues. Just bolts into the gutters.

Thanks.

It is the longer version. No fitment issues, but would it look incredibly stupid?

yeah but pick it up if it's cheap enough, you will find someone with a D1 sd rack on their D2 and you can trade them straight up. happens all the time.

$300 is a good price if it needs painting, $400 if it's in good condition with minimal rust. Most I see for sale used are around $600 or more.
