Default Fresh Meat!

I am the fresh meat here, been looking for a Land Rover for some time now and came across one that was to good to pass up.
I wanted one for doing local trips to the desert as well as pulling a Pop Up Trailer that weighs about 1400lbs loaded
I know of so many places in the local So Cal Desert from all the Dual Sport riding I do out there, that I have wanted to take my family to see but never had a four wheel drive that I could do so with.
I will be picking up a 2000 Disco SE next week that has 130k on the clock and lots of current and past service records, So next week when it passes the Kalifornia smog I will go pick it up.
And then the fun Starts....

The hard part is going to to wait for that first check engine code to pop up and then what will it be??
And then the first time "Disco Mike" tells me to PM him with my phone number :-)
Been searching lots of past posts and even found this search engine to work pretty good.

Thanks for a great Forum!!

Great, so by now you already have the RAVE set of manuals downloaded, and you have looked thru the technical section (be sure to read up on the front propshaft rebuild - stock does not have grease fittings, it chirps and pops and pokes big hole in transmission).
