Default Hello Hello

Hey all,

My name is John. I have a 2000 Land Rover 4.6 P38A. I am slowly turning it into a proper trail rig. I'll be documenting the whole process to show. Also, I'll probably come with a question or two once in a while.

Thanks,

John

Welcome. Please avail yourself of the free factory tech manuals set, called the RAVE. Covers lots or Rovers for lots of years, shop, electrical, body, owners, etc. Check out the tech section for service things to do with new2me trucks, and common repair fixes and swaps with other parts. Search for posts about alternators, trucks seem to have modest alternators and some people have problems getting rebuilt ones to last.

Welcome aboard. You may want to put your vehicle in your signature and your location in so folks will have a better idea of where you are in relation to events and shipping items in the future.

Enjoy, these guys are very helpful!

Will do. I'm on a couple other LR forums already, I just found this site while at work, and have only been on it from my work computer (so no pics of the vehicle and I set the account up quickly at lunch one day and forgot to finish all the details). I do already have the RAVE manual, and have been exploring my vehicle with its help for the last year and a bit. I've already done some upgrades and whatnot which I have documented on the other forums, and I'll post the most recent edition on here when I get home.

I've done a bit of exploring, and this site seems like another great resource! Looking forward to it!

Talk soon,

John

Not another great resource - the greatest resource - with some of the most firmly held opinions anywhere, why some members have minds like a steel trap - rusted shut!
