Looking to get a Land Rover. - Land Rover Forums

Hey everyone. I live in New Jersey and am looking to get a good 4x4 SUV. Now my only question is which is better for off-roading, the Range Rover or the Discovery. I am aiming at the Discovery because they are very cheap. So what would be the better buy?

IMHO Discovery 1, later model years.

D2 is different, in about 620 ways, more electronics, many versions of D2 lack the CDL. D1 has bigger parts in some areas. see A Side by Side Look at Discovery I & II - Land Rover Forums - Land Rover Enthusiast Forum for a comparison. Our tech area has "what to look for when buying a Discovery".
