Default Looking for the right one.

Great info here folks. I've been shopping for a disco for a month or so and just haven't found the right one yet. There are some nice prospects in las Vegas and california so I'm sure I'll have one in the next couple of weeks. Anyway just wanted to say hello.

Thanks for the welcome. I've done a bunch of searches and found a bunch of discos for sale in the usual places, Craig's list, auto trader cars for sale.com etc. but are there any other good places?

Hey folks my wife has decided she would like to add the Range Rovers to our search. So I've read up on them and it seems like reviews are about as negative as the ones on the Discos. She really likes a 2003 we drove here in Vegas. They are asking 16.5k for it and it has 109k miles. From what I've been able to find they are about 1500 to 2000 dollars high, does that sound about right? Would you run away from a Range Rover with that many miles? I'm not shy about fixing things like brakes, hoses, cooling system stuff etc.. What I'm really concerned about are sensors you just can't seem to fix and complete breakdowns of the engine or transmission. I'm also realistic that I'm buying an older car that was 80k for 15k ish. I am absolutely going to buy a Disco or Range Rover but now that I've driven the Range I'm stuck on it. I won't be doing any serious serious off road driving in either, that said I will leave the pavement every once in a while. Thanks
