Default New Disco Owner

This is my first Land Rover. Previously I had a full size bronco. The bronco was fun but eventually wore out from all the off-roading. So decided to get rid off it and get a Discovery. Found a 99 Disco for only $3800 and only 90,000 miles. There are a few things that need to be fixed, minor issues. Looking forward to working on it and looking to this forum for lots of help, some I already have used. Thanks to all the members that have provided helpful info in this forum, and looking to some day add to the wealth of knowledge.

Welcome. Please take advantage of the free download link below for the "RAVE" which contains shop, owner's, electrical, and other manuals for your truck. Also look in our tech section for a variety of DIY how-to write ups. Most important is front propshaft rebuild, if yours does not have grease fittings it will split and poke a big hole in the transmission, very expensive.
