I am new as a member here, I own 2 discoverys; a 97 with a mild OME 2" heavy duty suspension lift and some toddco 2" spacers, custom front bumper (arb knockoff), and a surco rack plus little toys here and there. This is more of a daily driver than anything. I also have my real toy; 95, 4" suspension, 4.5" body lift, 35" tires, drive shaft, arb bumper, roof rack, warn winch, and lots and lots of lights.
Yes, it is east bay. I wanted to get rid of all my toys and focus on my boat so I had it for sale for about 6 months. The fact that it had "too much" done to it scared people. Everyone thought I like savagely beat on it or something. The price kept getting lower and lower until I got sick of craigslist people (ie...I'll give you $1 or I'll trade you...) Ended up putting it on eBay for only $3500. Guy came out and bought it but as fate would have it a u joint went out on his ride back to Nevada. Being the nice guy I am I took the truck back since he was clueless about cars and was scared it was a major deal. Right now it's semi prepped for my next stage. The suspension kit is out and bumpers off. I'm going to build a custom 8" suspension lift and exo-cage. I didn't like the big gap between the bumper and body thanks to the 4.5" body lift so part of the exo-cage is going to be front and rear bumpers. I've been measuring and drawing for about a month now should be ready to buy the metal soon. Kinda excite to start but kinda not. With the previos setup I was at 8'6" at the rack. 11' even at the antenna. With the new lift and tires I will be over 9 at the rack. I live in north bay and work in south bay so it's a very very good possibility you've seen me bobbing down the freeway.
Oh yeah, and you could have seen me at both Fremont or hayward, I used to work in Fremont and I own 5 motorcycles so I'm always at cyclegear in Hayward. And the hummer is now mine, neighbor lost his job so I picked it up, so far I've supercharged it and changed out the wheels and tires.

Good that you kept it. I did want to pick it up, but the ad disappeared....when I want looking. I just hope you didn't put chrome wheels on that Hummer.....if you see a yellow one with chrome wheels, flip the guy off...he is a friend of mine....HAHA.. On the other hand, my neighbor also has one. Just a few weeks ago, we were up in Reno, and took it off the beaten path, behind his brothers' house. I'm very impressed on how well the stock holds up on the rocks and on the incline!
Fellow motorcyclist...who knows, might have bumped into you at Carnegie, Hollister....Sears Point, Thunder, or Willows....or even at Cycle Gear....LOL. If you do the dirt thing, I'm guy (only) out there with a TM 125....(2-smoke 4-evar!)

If your neighbor has a hummer also, you must live on Bay Farm. I was talking with a couple of alameda police while hanging out at chipotle and they were telling me that there are 5 hummers in alameda. the yellow one that lives downtown-ish and the other 4 of us are on bay farm. I would never kill an off road vehicle by doing the big rim tiny tire thing, I put some polished wheels with big tires, I actually went down a size so I can get more sidewall with the same size tires. Living where we do, we get to see a lot of things that some of the other members have never had to suffer through, like the lowered land rover d2 with the 24" rims that roams around alameda/oakland. That poor truck! Thanks for chiming in, I definitely feel like I'm at home here now that I know some of the members are my neighbors, LITERALLY!
