In America do you get more women with a RRS or an old defender
It seems every time I drive a defender for a simple roadtest I get guys that are in awe of the thing. Its not like a GTO or an American car. You would think some girl would like it but no female will give you the time of day in the thing.
What gives.
Even female customers who own Land Rovers are blase about them.
Girlies are into sleek, shiny and sexy. Defenders are boxy and intimidating - and according to my wife, 'ugly'. If you want to please a womans eye you need something faster and brighter in color.

Ditto, the Defender doesn't appeal to many American ladies.....99% of the RRS's driving around Seattle are soccer-mom's, business ladies, or just chicks with rich boyfriends.
I don't think I've ever even seen a lady IN a Defender, let alone driving one........except in the movies

There is one hot lady driving a badass white Defender 110 in the suburbs east of Pittsburgh. She knows she and her Rover are bad to the bone.

VERY GOOD

There is a guy in town that owns a 80's British racing green defender (fully restored and updated as a 90's with leather/Etc) who lets his girlfriend drive it and I see her almost everyday. We pass on the same road at about 5pm and she frantically waives at me every-time as we are the only "unique" land rovers around. She has a LR hat on most of the time too.
I need to take a picture, I know...
