Default yes and no

It will be PACKED. Any time we go out to the coast for a launch the area is jammed up but with this being a "final" launch the entire area is gonna be mobbed.

We usually stay here... http://www.google.com/url?sa=t&sourc...rq8Z7pvpzmwOGw

But as it offers one of the closest and best views of the launch site it will be booked but they may have a few walk up sites so call em up.

If you have access to a boat there are a few primitave islands in the intercoastal too but I'm not clear on restrictions during a launch. BUT it is the best area to primitave camp is you should be so inclined... Canaveral National Seashore, Titusville, Florida - Backcountry Camping

Call em up!

Cosmic, thanks for the info. I was thinking canaveral national seashore would be the best place to camp too. I tried calling yesterday but it kept going to voicemail. I'll keep trying.

just read a news article that the launch might get re-scheduled because of the government shut down
