Anyone else love Overhaulin' on Discovery Channel?
I'm hooked on this show. I particularly loved the one (or two?) episodes when they restored/updated a Bel Air (my Dad-in-law had a 64 but had to sell it for funds.)
However, I'd love to see an LR on the show. Does anyone know if there ever was one featured?

Issues: none
To-do: get new General or Nitto tires (now has Nexen Roadian HPs), replace crankshaft sensor, clean/replace throttle body heater gasket
Completed: air filter, oil/filter change, rebuilt front driveshaft, replaced both upstream O2 sensors (Service Engine Soon light off and no codes), 3 amigos gone after rotors lost oxidation from storage, replaced F/R window regulator, Magnecor 8mm, Bosch Platinum +4's
I would love to take an early DI and gut it to bare bones and do a build-up on it. Maybe a 95 so there would be no emissions control requirements. I know a parts vehicle of that vintage I am trying to get real cheap and make it a play thing.

That would be an awesome rebuild project! I'd like to see one restored to stock... maybe - at best - a 2" lift. But not much else. can't remember who it was that posted pics of a 350 engine in their LR. That was sick! And definitely a labor of love.
Good idea on the emissions.

how about a show where they show you how to actually fix a vehicle and more importantly how to diagnose stuff. Oh wait that doesn't make money only throwing parts at stuff does.
That's a great idea for a show! The diagnostic show would be on Speed and the throwing money at a problem would be on Discovery.

I love doing laundry, and I am doing laundry as I type. I love to clean also and organize things. I don't think you are weird, I just think that we love things to be organized, clean and put away....
