Default Best feeling when going off roading

I love it when people get excited to see a Land Rover wheel. It is awesome. Everytime I go out and wheel, people are like...are you really going to wheel a Land Rover, and I say yep...and get compliments on it all day long....LOVE IT

I've run into that as well on the trail. I ran into the same guy on two different trails a few years back. When he saw me the second time, he was really talking up LRs (he's a Jeep guy) and got people excited to watch me do a very difficult obstacle (French Creek on the Holy Cross trail - it was highlighted on an Xtreme 4X4 episode). I was doing real well till I hit the exit of the creek and got stuck bad. Winched out to clear the trail and get the line moving (it's common trail courtesy around here to make three attempts and if you can't make it, pull winch line and move on). Oh well!

I notice that when I offroad, my nerves calm down and I stop worrying about stuff.

What is super awesome so far with my LR...it has not broken down yet...where as some of my Jeep friends...have...I just wish we had the long travel suspension that late model jeeps have
