Default Crap for sale...

Why do people list their crap for sale and not list a price? Then they say to email them if interested! How can I know if I'm interested if I don't know the price you are asking!!!! Beats the hell out of me how they expect anyone to be truly interested if they won't offer their asking price to the general public. Are they that embarrassed?!?!

(just my rant for today. Don't mind me)

Well, you have to darn near double the price to get it shipped to your garden spot, so it isn't affordable in the first place.... but I agree that prices need to be posted. You can always negotiate.

Yeah, but I'm always looking for an excuse for a road trip!

Some boards have instructions at the top of the various forums stating what the forum is for and what any posting requirements there may be. For example, on LRO and Dweb and a few others, one is not allowed to post For Sale listings in the Tech section. Any listing will be moved by a moderator. The reason being to keep the Tech section clean and to the point. The same boards also require For Sale listings to have a price, pictures (or link to pictures), description, ect. Now, that doesn't mean all listings conform but at least there are posted rules so when someone is not following them you can call it to the attention of the poster.

And location. I hate it when they never post where the crap for sale is located!(remember, there was a time when I lived in the lower 48 and location mattered)
