While I would love to drive and wheel an LR4 for a week, I would not want to buy one even if I did have the moolah which I don't and never would. I don't want an electronic wonderland of mesmerizing/ bewildering proportions. I don't want a new vehicle of electronic wizardry of any kind especially one which I would off road continually. Just want a fairly basic but hard boned 4 wheeling truck where I did not feel like I was driving a Star Wars rig where I would be continually worried sick about an electronic meltdown. I love my basic 97 D1 with few gadjets and a real manual lever to get in and out of high and low AND solid axles F and R. If I was to buy a brand new wheeling truck (which I never will) it would have to be a Wrangler as they are still pretty basic hard boned trucks at least at the present time. If I could find another low milage D1 in the future if my current 97 died then I would go that way but the new fancy electronic LR's don't interest me as a potencial buyer. Just an old guy who likes KISS trucks.
