Default New shiny tool trolley/cabinet.

My tool trolley/cabinet arrived today, a US PRO make, it has five drawers in the lower cabinet, with seven in the top box/upper cabinet. It is the cheapest range they sell, apparently, but for me it is more than adequate and I've always wanted a tool trolley. The castors are substantial with two braked and swivelling and every drawer is lockable, not that that matters, my wife won't steal or use the tools as she wouldn't know a hammer from a screwdriver, bless her.

I know Snap On makes good cabinet/trolleys but this is 10% of their prices and ideal for 'amateur' use.

I was lucky, when I moved into my shop fifteen years ago the guy renting the place to me had just lost his brother. He didn't know what to do with his brother's large, two piece Snap On 8 drawer cabinet. I guess he didn't know what it was worth. I offered him $150 and he was happy to take it. Granted, the unit is now probably 25 years old but it still works just fine.

There's nothing worse than not having room for all your tools. Enjoy your new toy.

A real bargain Paul even back then. I wish I could afford a Snap On tool trolley but they cost an arm and leg today. My US Pro seems very good for the money, £139 and free delivery to the UK. It's great having all the spanners in one cabinet rather than jumbled up in the plastic tool trolley.
