Have not confirmed this with my own research BUT....
...There are rumors that within the next few years TaTa will be splitting the Land Rover brand up into 2 separate "brands."
1.Range Rover - Including the regular ole Range Rover, Range Rover Sport and Evoque (or whatever that front-wheel drive garbage is...) This will be the more luxury "urban" brand. This will also finally put to bed the explanation that "Yes, that Range Rover is a Land Rover....." discussion
2. Land Rover - Including the LR4, LR2 and a couple different versions of the Defender....this will be the more "Off-Road" geared brand
Anyone else heard this interesting rumor?

i can't afford either. Maybe Tata will make an off road vehicle. if its like their car it will have one windshield wiper, no mirrors, weight 100 lbs, cost $1,000 and be assembled by 8 yr olds.

So you're saying this is what the new Camel Trophy Defender will look like?

Halleluah!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Finally a DEFENDER I can afford and I don't ever have to worry about tearing it up off road cause it won't go off road!!!!!! This is the most wonderful news of my life and it's YELLOW too!!! One question though? Does it have an engine or do you just pedal it??
