just got back into town from vacation and has a LR3...guess it's time to go visit him and check it out!

They are magnificent trucks but I seriously doubt they'll ever engender the deep, connected feelings we have for our old Rovers. I often wonder what will happen as these RRC's, DI's and DII's get on in age. Will there be anything around for me to drive in twenty years. I might have passed retirement age by then but I don't see myself driving a Buick!

I'm 28 and wonder the same thing, all the cars now that have all the computers and electronics in 15 years will be a nightmare. My next vehicle will be desiel, I might save up for a defender.

So the LR bug bought him and his family and he bought an '05 LR3 while he was down south. I'm glad to have a buddy up here with another LR!

I know a guy stationed with the Coast Guard on Kodiak Island. He had an XD and an old 109 up there with him. He said there were a number of other Rovers on the island as well. I know Alaska is an insanely large state and the population of Rovers on Kodiak may be meaningless but there are Rovers are everywhere.
