Default Lr4

Hey all, until there's a LR4 section, I guess this will have to do. I'm looking for advice on good safety accessories for my new 2010 LR4. It's my 6th Land Rover. I insist on using them for what they were designed.

Seven seats, smooth on the road, terribly fast for a Disco (I've owned a few). It enters high speed New York City traffic quickly enough to make the Q7 and X5 drivers double-take. I've only had limited off-road exposure in the four weeks since the Buckingham Blue marvel arrived, one day of deep beach and a brief Manhattan sidewalk crawl I probably shouldn't mention.

I have the HSE Lux with the Heavy Duty package: the "cold box," lamp guards, rear seat entertainment, 20" alloys, mud flaps, full size spare, locking diff . It was a showroom model, hence the silly add-ons (the plastic lamp guards are not nearly as sturdy as the lamp covers they guard, I assume the hard plastic mud flaps will simply rip off from normal LR use).

I just added:
Mini Flashlight www.12vspotlight.com
Jumper Cables
Fire Extinguisher http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B001PB3GU...VEFK4F7RX4
First Aid Kit http://www.amazon.com/First-Aid-Only-Outdo...B000053519
Tire Gauge http://www.ghmeiser.com/
Recovery Strap http://www.expeditionexchange.com/straps/
Wagan Power Dome http://www.wagan.com/index.php?page=shop.p...Itemid=101
Safety Hammer http://www.lifehammer.com/a_lifehamm...s/features.htm
Cobra 19 DXIV CB http://www.cobra.com/products//19-dx...mpact-cb-radio
"Little Will" Antenna http://www.walcottcb.com/wilson-little-wil...p-395.html

I eagerly await the proper LR4 gear catalog, and am looking for a subtle (indoor) mount for my Hi-Lift. I'm taking suggestions. Thanks!

BTW, the ARB Fridge/Freezer at http://www.arbusa.com/Products/Fridges/20.aspx is just begging to be latched into the Landy.

I didn't. We purchased it from Charlie Haas at Monmouth Land Rover out in NJ. We found the purchasing experience overwhelming more satisfying. Charlie worked with us for months to help make our dream a reality, at a good price. He insisted on demonstrating every aspect of the LR4, and is a model of what a car salesman can be. He's simply terrific.

Our last Land Rover, a LR2, was purchased at LR Manhattan. In the last three years, we still haven't seen (or been invited to) the roof "test track."
http://www.manhattanauto.com/cms/Events_7.html, even when I test drove the LR2, 3 and 4.

The four rovers we bought before that (RR, Disco I &II and D90) we purchased at Paul Miller Land Rover in NJ.
