Default 2001 Land Rover Discovery II SE - $4000 Dallas, TX

I am selling my 2001 Land Rover Discovery II SE. This rough and ready SUV comes standard with all wheel drive. The SE model also comes with dual sunroofs, power windows, locks, and seats. This engine is a 4.8 liter V8. The engine runs well and still has plenty of get up and go, especially in sport mode.

The vehicle has 164,XXX miles. I have recently replaced the water pump and tires just a few thousand miles ago. For full disclosure the power steering gearbox must be replaced. Someone with more technical ability than I can probably do this with out too much trouble. The power steering pump was replaced last year. The wheel turns fine but the gear box makes a whining noise. The engine also needs its O2 censors replaced.

This is a great vehicle if you want something rugged and ready for adventure. This would also be great to convert into a full off road monster.

I am asking $4000 but would also consider a reasonable offer. I am located in Allen, TX and can meet you to view the vehicle most evenings or on weekends.

I can be reached at 919-650-9418. No Dealers. Cash Only.

You mean 4.6L motor? When was the head gasket done? The D2's aren't a matter of IF the head gasket fails, it's just WHEN. So was it done?
Good luck with the sale

A 2001 with a 4.6 wouldn't be original engine
