I am assuming you mean the "noises" the car would make if you were turning the ignition and using the turn indicators... If you do not hear anything and everything is otherwise functioning normally. The speaker that normally makes those sounds might be damaged or disconnected. I am not entirely sure where the speaker is, but it is probably in the instrument cluster. At least thats where the sound is the strongest. In all honesty it might actually be nice not having your rover yell at you for every little thing. It sounds like mine is going to launch a weapon when starting.

Yes, thanks for your reply so quick. The bcm is located under drivers seat [RHD] and that should control it, but I didnt think the speaker would be there. Looking around under the dash I cant find any sort of module for it. The important bit is the turn signal beep. ROBERT

When I go out to mine, it sounds like the speaker is just behind the instrument cluster. You might have to pull the panel out to access it.

I think I remember seeing something on rangerovers.net about the speaker and how to disconnect it so you do not get the annoying beeps. Your indicators will be a relay sound I believe and not a "speaker" sound. Unless I missed what you were saying that it does sound but it so fast you cannot hear it or you miss it.

Handsome rob,the flasher relay is part of the bcm and is electronic and doesnt make any noise like the old flasher cans, therefore a speaker is fitted as a reminder. Cheers.

I see this problem as a enhancement, IMHO.
