Hello All

Hellllllllllllpppppppppp!!!!!!

Im new to the site and need some help asap!!!!
I have a 2003 Range Rover big body and my antifreeze is leaking really bad and the mechanic states I need to replace the water pump. Can someone help me with some instructions on how to replace it. Do I need to replace any hoses with it

Also i found one one the web for $200, would that be about the right price for the OEM replacement.

Thanks much

depending on mileage those hoses are known to blow especially the top hose. that water pump is pretty basic just make sure you replace the water pump oring seals to the rear coolant manifold pipes. remove fan shroud and fan, remove pulley and remove belt. its pretty basic after that. couple bolts and it comes off.

And don't forget to download the free set of factory tech manuals called the RAVE, covers most years of most Rovers.

Default Water Pump Replacement

Thanks for all your help, do you know of a good site for me to get the original water pump from... I see a lot of cheap ones and expensive one... Which do I chose, or do I just match the part number #8510324 from the dealer

Thanks [
