See if the ABS pump is running when you first turn the key.

I would suspect the accumulator. But you need listen to the pump and find out what it is doing. Is it turning on and off quickly, is it running continuously, is it struggling to run, does it sound smooth or coarse, etc?

A relay shouldn't buzz. Try swapping it with a known good one.

The only thing that should make the noise is the pump. The accumulator shouldn't make any noise and the relay as Wilson stated, shouldn't either.

Morning, my mistake, the pump dose make the noise not the accumulator and the relay as well makes a click when the pump buzzes and it dose this every ....i'd say 8 to 10 sec. intervals and last about 1 sec. ea. also when i push the break pedal down it dose the same thing. should i change my Accumulator???? It's a fine time to happen too, our family car is in the shop 3 hrs away and i have know idea when that ride well be done Im so thankful for this forum and i'am a bit of a handy man but not a full blown mech. Thanks my fellow land rover brothers............

sounds like the accumulator. That is the first thing I would replace. The pump could also be weak, but if you need a new pump, you have to replace the accumulator anyway. It is a fairly easy job and is not that expensive.(for a land rover part that is)

Default abs problem

Hello and Thanks, well i found a pump but it's to a RR classic, I did take the pressure switch off that pump. When i was getting ready to take off pressure switch on my ABS pump i notice a leak. so i change it and all 3 lights(TC,Brake and ABS) went off. but my exterior brake lights are still on and wont go off. STILL clueless as to way ??????????????? Thanks for ur help my fellow Land Rover Brothers. P.s. my Pressure switch was out. The spring which goes in and out was in and would not spring outward.
