I do not think that you can just jump a couple of wires to clear it. You will need the software from RSW Solutions ot do it and also either make or buy the cable. It can be done with a $6 trip to Radio Shack and about 30 minutes.

If you have springs and the fault keeps showing AB sells a kit that will stop all the messages and lights. You may also be able to disconnect the EAS computer after clearing the fault and not get the message again.

I do not have coil springs and so I have not tested all this other than the RSW software and cable which is fantastic. Maybe someone else will chime in with information after the fault is cleared and how to keep it away.

I still think you will need the RSW stuff to clear the fault. Keeoing it away is what I am not sure about. If you can solder then it can be made in a matter of 30 minutes. When I did mine I did not use the OBD2 connector and I just use pins to make the connection, hopefully I do not ever need to use it again, I just keep it in the car in case I do.
