Default Found: Diamond in the rough!!!

Thanks to everyone's opionions on what to look for before buying one of these Range Rovers I found one and can confidently say it is "a diamond in the rough." Not a dent, scratch, rust patch, sweak, shimmy, squeal, or best of all leak. It was a one owner car and they had taken it to the dealership/stealership for all of its service. Even Land Rover headquarters was called in for this purchase and they looked it up on the recall records and only trim items were mentioned and were all fixed years ago. I had it checked and rechecked by different mechanics all who said that it all checked out "OK" no code issues etc. I have been waiting since 1995 to purchase one of these since I fell for the new body style at the time and patience finally paid off. She is a real beauty. Black on Black 2002 P38 fully loaded and ready for the great adventures!

Special thanks goes out to LRScott and Wilson96 for answering all my questions prior to my big purchase.

Off roading,
RROJ

I wouldn't call that a diamond in the rough, it sounds pretty polished. I picked up a diamond in the rough. Rough being the key word

Opionions? I'm so expited I'm mean excited that I can't spell at the moment. One of my relatives pointed out the error and in the same breath wanted to go out on a ride. Thanks for the congratulations I'm enjoying the moment. It may be a "rough" ride ahead but I feel like I have a strong support team for the possible rough times ahead. Thanks for your support.

With any vehicle or mechanical device, you will eventually have problems. With Rovers, there is more information, support, and parts available than on any foreign vehicle I know of. Don't freak out about what can happen, just enjoy it and have fun.

Congrats and welcome to the club! The problems you will have in the future won't matter to you because you will enjoy the truck so much it is worth it.

Thank you for the warm welcome! I took her out of state for a ride in the NY countryside and she performed like a winner. I'm looking forward to the trips ahead this summer. I took some pictures and as soon as I can I will put them up for all to see.

dRange,
No worries. On my search, which has taken many moons I was told that "you will find one just be patient" and sure enough my dream did come true, but its a true hunt. Stay calm and focused and you can't go wrong. I'm sure you will find one too. They are out there but only a few are well maintained. Best of luck to you and your search. Let us know when you find one.
p.s. cool name "drange"
