Default HSE 2004 62,000 OBD 2 code 1173 Please HELPPPPP

Hey guys anyone please help I have a range rover 2004 that the service engine soon light has come on and off it turns on when I drive for about 30 minutes into my trip and go off when I turn the car on in the morning I have a ODB 2 scanner thats telling me its a 1173 code which im trying to find out what the hell it is can someone or anyone know what the heck a 1173 code is please guys get back to me ASAP thank you email me or post operez@reed-electric.com

oh yea and I have 62,000 miles on it as of right now please guys anyone please help or direct me please im very pissed off cause I berly got the car about a month ago used now the service engine soon light is on please help guys

You have an O2 heater sensor malfunction on bank 2 (passenger side) If that is the only fault you have, check the wiring for the sensors.


And PM Mike if you want him to talk to you. Don't just post your e-mail in random posts. It is annoying. In a person's response, there is a place to PM, E-mail, etc.....

you have a fueling issue on the left bank of your engine, its not a heater circuit. its one of three things, either youre dumping too much fuel on that bank(youd smell a sulfury exhaust), you have a bad downstream o2 sensor that not reading right, or you need a new cat conv. if it turns out to be the cat, you should go to the dealer, its under warrenty.
