Today's Problem! Stammering under initial acceleration.
A couple weeks ago I kept getting a check engine light indicating that I had a bad throttle potentiometer. I tested the pot and it checked out, but the wiring to it was pretty knackered. So I spliced in the pig-tail from my parts car, and everything was fine.
Today I went to drive it, and I did my standard procedure of taking a couple laps around the block to make sure everything was kosher and to let it warm up. It seemed fined, so I pulled onto Main street. After a bit I went to turn left, and when I applied any throttle from idle it stammered... it acted like it had completely leaned itself out. It didn't jerk or anything, it simply had no power at all. I turned around and made it back home, but it did the same thing several times. If you floored it it would stammer and then slowly regain its wits and drive fine after a roughly ten second delay, but it didn't like starting from a standstill.
It didn't throw any codes; no lights came on at all and it was idling fine. Thoughts?
