I have noticed this old yellow LR pick-up for several weeks now parked at a repair shop south of Montrose, CO. Finally stopped by and took some pictures today. It has Texas plates on it. Great looking old Rover. Belong to anybody on this site? Must be waiting for parts/repair/restoration. If anybody can tell me the model/year/production details I would be fascinated to know.
I like that grill. Straight up wire mesh. I bet it drives like a truck! Made way before the days Land Rover turned into a luxury car maker. Cool.
I remember hearing somewhere that back in the day, guys would pop the grille off and use it over the fire to cook dinner....that's MAN stuff right there.
