Default Roaming in Colorado

Thought I would use this forum for this. Hope that is ok.

I am looking for other Land Rover people in Colorado to plan some
day trips etc.

There are a ton of day trip trails just west of the metro area and
I would love to tackle some of them with fellow land rover people.
Range, Disco, or whathaveyou. Just good times and fun trails.
Plus it feels better if we get stuck (not likely ) to have a fellow
rover there to bail you or I out.

Post in here if you are interested.

Join the Denver based Solihull Society. Try Frontrange4x4 as they are a non specific model wheeling group with lots of members including some LR's and lots of other vehicle types.

I did join the forums on Solihull. Need to go to one of their meetings or events as the forums seem dead. Have not seen frontrange 4x4, will search them out as well.

I don't do many runs with the Solihull Society as I live 300 miles away on the Western Slope but they are a good, friendly group. Get on the forum and say you want to go on a regular run or propose one and you will get some responses. I've been on 2 of their runs this year and enjoyed them both. Did the Chinaman Gulch and Mt. Antero runs. I've not joined frontrange4x4 or been on any of their numerous runs but their website is very interesting and they seem by it to be totally nonmodel based and don't care what you drive.

I was just down by you. Should have contacted you before I went on my trip. I plan on returning regularly as I absolutely love the Ouray area.

I would like to run with you if you get out this way again. I'm down for awhile at the moment do to recent shoulder surgery but I'll heal up eventually. Good luck.

I wanna go too. I hope to get a trip together for when I'm in CO in October. Unfortunately Ugly Duckling won't be ready for the trip but I'll find a Rover for a trip.

i'm driving cross country middle/end of aug. and plan on driving the Bolam Pass in colorado. Don't know exact dates of when i'll be there, but if there's anyone in that area that wants to do that pass, or something else (the trip's pretty flexible) let me know.
