Default Stupidest thing every done in your Rover?

Ok, this is a family site so lets keep it moderately clean. lol. I shall get us started: I once drove from western WA to Eastern IN in the rover with 4 adults and one 5.5 week old Lab puppy. I had already married my spouSe but the DUMBEST THING I HAVE EVER DONE IN MY ROVER WAS GETTING MARRIED TO SOMEONE I HADNT TAKEN A CROSS-COUNTRY ROVER TRIP WITH FIRST...
and GO!

nice^^^
I lost trail, one night, and drove into the Colorado. steep enough that I stuck the front bumper in the river bed.....took an hour to dig down/block water and get to winch....6 more to get out....

that's what I get...too stupid to get out and survey the trail ahead. it was a wildlife trail...

Once hit an unseen, sunken log crossing a trail that went into a swamp. It was chest deep water. As measured by me while sitting in the drivers seat. and it was winter in WA state. We had to use a 7mm neoprene drysuit to wade in and attach the winch cable to the rear of my rover. I believe Valkarye70x (spelling?) was there for that one. Swamp water inundated teh carpets so bad we just pulled them out. Oddly enough it didnt seem to bother the ECU though. Thankfully we were canted enough that we barely avoided sucking water into the engine.
Also once took a D2 through the stryker (8 wheel drive, 22 ton army APC) obstacle course on ft lewis, at night, with the MP's (in their chevy trailblazers) attempting to apprehend us. They were unsuccessful thankfully.

Had no witnesses, will not confess to any deeds. Fix afterwards was cheap, but lesson learned.

Does leaving your lights on for an hour and then having your colleague tell you, only to go turn them off and then start the Rover up to charge the battery, only to forget about it and then leave it running for 2 hours constitute stupid?..

I did that today. Must have too much on my mind..

well then OCMike you are missing the best parts of owning a 4x4. The mistakes are the fun part (especially when they happen to your friend and not to you!)
