Default Tribute to the Rover V8 on Top Gear

For any you that have On-Demand through Comcast, check out the 'Lost Season' season 4 of Top Gear, there is an episode with a short tribute to the 37-year run of the Rover V8.....

...They called it a "brilliant engine".....I almost spit out my beer

Yes it was a boat motor before it was a Rover motor, nice and light and reliable which is what you need for a boat.

Guys look at the motor they have for display on Top Gear. It has aluminum heat shields on the headers. We need to find what car they put them on then snatch them from a salvage yard. Maybe a great way to reduce under hood temps. I went and looked on my parents Legend and Honda minivan...they both have manifold heat shields. Maybe Honda knows something? Like how a build a long lasting engine.
