Default Who wants to lay odds?

Ok, who wants to lay odds on my truck with 189,342.7 miles on the clock making a 2500 mile trip at the end of the week trouble free?

Today I changed the oil (was not actually due until 190k)and checked all the vitals.
Cleaned the oil separator and t-body, both were already pretty clean.
Checked the air filter and greased all four u-joints and both slip joints.
Cleared the clogged rear axle breather.
Later this week I am going to lube all the locks and hinges and remove the spare tire and check the tire pressure in all five tires.
Then Friday night we leave and will be back on Monday.

So...a 1997 DI with 189k, will she make it?

And here I am worrying about taking my 04 DII w/ 92K to Sesame Place from North Jersey this Summer.

Anyway - how about tires? Does that count? I got my money on tires. With everything else you're doing/have done, don't overlook your tire pressure.

Nope have not checked tire PSI yet, thats on the "to do" list for this week as well as lube the door locks and hinges.

A friend and I are going to a concert in Ft. Worth and then a open air festival in Ok. City OK and then back home.

Gas is going to be around $400 for the whole trip.
Camp site, $10.
Concert tickets were $35.
All that is left is food and drink.
A 12 pack of Mt. Dew and Nutter Butters and I'm good for the ride down.

I just did Ft. Lauderdale and back in the mine. I did develop the classic throttle body gasket leak about 300 miles into Florida. I will be fixing it this week.
Mine did great--I even got a tank average of 24 on the good Indiana gas (94 octane). Most of the time I was rolling 16-18.
