Default 96 Disco steering wheel & airbag replacement

The steering wheel in my truck is a little wragged out so I bought another wheel and airbag for it. I would like a little info on how to replace these. Justdisconnect battery and do it? Or is there more to it than this?

Disconnect the battery and let the trk sit OVERNIGHT!!! The airbag module needs to have time to discharge.
IT WILL KILL YOU! If you pull the steering wheel and you are to close or have a tool infront of you and it goes off...you will need more than a steering wheel.

I have the Land Rover workshop manual, and all it said to do was disconnect both leads to the battery. I wanted to ask here, because the book doesn't always tell you everything to look out for.

Tread very carefully, go to , http://www.roverlandparts.com/index....S&Category=271
and order a good guaranteed used steering wheel.
You will need to have the SRS codes cleared after installing the replacement.
