Default Service Engine Soon

Recently changed my motor oil and air filter on my 2002 Freelander S, and shortly after (300KM) noticed the amber "service engine soon" light. What triggers this warning, and is there a reset for this light.

Default RE: Service Engine Soon

I have had this problem and I put some antifreeze in the resevoir and the light went off. Check all your fluids and see if that takes care of it.
