Default Need help with electrical

None of the widows works, dash lights come on but the speedometer the gas gauge or the overheating gauge works, The moon/sun roof wont open, We replaced the fuse box under the hood, as that is what the seller told me the problem was. However that only fixed the headlights and tail lights, It did turn on the AC and heater too. Any other suggestions would be greatfull

first off let me ask what model and year it is, because that really gives a clue as to what the general problem could be. I.e. if its a disco I, i'd say start under the glove compartment and check the relays and the stuff near the spider, because under there controls all that stuff your talking about, rear windows front windows etc.. There is plenty of info here for other places for different vehicles that electrical stuff can go wrong.

Default sorry

it is a range rover 98 se, I noticed the dash lights come on , but the speedometer and rps, fuel gauge and heating gauge do not work, not sure what to think, the AC comes on after about 10 minutes of driving and the windows and sun roof still doesnt work.

There are multiple fuse Banks so i'd check all of them, i.e. not just the one under your hood, also one under your dash. Sounds like a bad harness or ground somewhere. Grab a schematic and see where all of those wires meet. Should be in the engine block or under the dash. There should be a schematic somewhere in the back of your Manual.

Default Ok, I will try that

I found 1 frayed wire that leads to the ignition switch, not sure if that is it, but I will fix it and see what happens. I checked all fuses and they are fine
