i have used dynamat in a couple of cars years ago for sound deading and it worked well. what are you looking for when you say "improve"? better speaker's or denser sound? i would do both new speaker's and dynamat if you want an improved sound. as far as a uscaraudio as a source, go for it if you find it to be the cheapest. my bestfriend has distributor's license so i have never really looked for pricing. hth

You can get similar sound deading material at home depot, it is in the roofing section.

I used to build car audio competion vehicles and have used just about everything under the sun and you are just paying for the name with dynamat. I would also like to know what you have for speakers, head unit, and amplifier. Your sound is not going to sound much "better" with dynamat or similar materials it is just going to be a little louder. The little bit of "better" sound will be from reducing the amount of sound cancelling with one another as well as speaker placement or imaging. As a general rule of thumb you want to place speakers from the 250hz and up as far away forward from the listeners ears like the kick panels, this will give you a more centered soundstage from either the passenger or drivers seat. Low frequencies are harder to identify the location so imaging isnt as necessary unless you have some body panels resonating and identifying the location of the subs.
