Default 18" all terrain LR3 Tires ???

Anyone recommend a good aggressive all terrain tire? Choices in the 255/60/18 are very limited . Ive read all the posts and still having a hard time deciding. I've ran bfg all terains and mud terrains on a hunting truck of mine for years with no complaints. However i cannot get this tire for my lr3 unless going up a size tire. If i decided to do this would I have rubbing issues?
Any advice would be appreciated.

IF you are having issues finding 18' tyres , there's another alternative ( but costly ) you can get a totally different size of rim say 16's,( after market ) maybe with a taller profile tyre in off road ,
but keeping the same circumference of the 18' keeping the ratio , so when you are not going off road , you can run your 18's ,,,, to save the life of your off road tyres. ( we have this same problem here in the Caribbean )

I would say a great bet is the Nitto Terra Grappler or the new Nitto Grappler G2-- looks very nice. I've been using the Terra Grapplers, very happy with them. The G2's look awesome. If you want to stay with 255...

G2
*255/55R18 109H21550012.729.0210.437.0-(8.0)-9.02271@50
The wider option

Also the TG have sizes for you. Very rugged. If you want a taller profile, you'll need toddco spacers and / or lift rods, etc. Overkill IMO.

You can see the Nitto Terra Grappler 285/60/18 here, under Rover Specialties.

You can also get 17" rims from Justin at Lucky8 if you want to go that route.

I faced a similar problem and fitted two General Tire AT2 Grabbers 255x60x18. I am going on an extended trip into the desert so hope they perform OK. The decision to replace only 2 tires was based on the fact the other 3 were in good condition. If you need to change all 5 tires then go up a size to 265x60x18 since there are more supplier options.

I am doing my suspension now, I have 18" and 19" rims I want e rated tires and can't find any in Rover sizes

If I can't get e I at least want something heavy duty, after all it is a 7100# truck

16's are not a option with the LR3 unless you remove your brakes

Tom, I just ordered 255/55R19 in a MT. More info on them in my DII build thread.

I believe so. You might check Goodyear they had a Adventure Kevlar AT in 255/60R19 it didn't look very aggressive though. They also had the Duratrac in a 255/55R19.
