255/55/19 is a low profile tire, regardless of who makes it or what thread patern you get on it. The tire in question here doesn't appear to have a wheel protector from the picture so it can't even protect your wheels from curb rash, much less sliding off rocks and such. Even the best tire made in those measurments is still at the end of the day a low profile. Low pros simply have no real place going off road. They are simply not designed for it. I'm with Mike on this one, go 18' and call it the day. Your LR3 will ride much more comfortably and the larger size fills the tire well much better.

Jantiz, since we have the same truck and it sounds like we have a similar aesthetic (I prefer the cleaner Rover look for the most part, not the super oversized off road look) and since from your other posts you rave about the Silent Armors, I would love to see what your truck/tire combo looks like. Do you have any picks you can share?
Warming up to the idea of swapping out eventually, gotta do some more research.
I seem to be a little picture posting challenged. But Ozzy68 recently bought silent armours for his black LR3 and then went playing in the snow with them. Check out his posts under thetread: LR3/new tires . He also posted a couple of very nice quality pictures. Check them out. http://www.landroverforums.com/m_39214/mpage_2/tm.htm
