better tires

I have read over several posts but really don't know what tires i want for my 2005 LR3. I go off road about once a month. Mostly just driving around town. I know sad with my car but I don't know anyone to go off road with. I have the 19's on the car and would like to keep them just because i don't want to buy rims. what tires would you all suggest for me? i would greatly appreciate all of your opinions.

I'm not sure what the size of the tires are for LR3s but go to tirerack.com and search for any all terrain in your size. The General Grabber A/T2s are very cheap and many people love them so I'd start there. You should still consider a wheel swap though. LR3s can fit 18s but not 16s, right? If so you could get a set of 18s, and sell your 19s and actually end up making money oddly enough.

There is some seriously extensive help on that exact topic if you search under the LR3 tab. By the way, ditto on switching to 18" wheels. Much wider tire selection, cheaper prices, better ride quality.
